Welcome to the Clarence Valley 2008 Gate to Plate
The Clarence Valley is best known for its beautiful beaches and green valleys, but in May 2008 we gave everyone the chance to experience our regional cuisine and put our local producers on the menu. From Yamba prawns and Wooli oysters to Brangus Beef and Dorrigo cheeses, you were able to sample it all!

On Sunday 25th May 2008, special guest Ken Done and celebrity chef John Meredith, from the James Street Cooking School, entertained at the inaugural ‘Clarence Valley Gate to Plate’, an innovative regional event celebrating Clarence Valley produce. The day was a huge success and we look forward to next years event.

Showcased through producer stalls and an exclusive luncheon, this event offered the opportunity to bring local produce from the gate to your plate - It doesn’t get any fresher than this!
