ART IN THE PADDOCK

 

This event brings together local artists and craftspeople with art lovers and art buyers at unique properties in the Clarence Valley. High tea, a barbeque, lemonade stall, picnic lunches, fine wines and beers, art stalls and live music make it a very enjoyable day out. 

 

  • 2019 ART IN THE PADDOCK was held Sunday 2 June at Yulgilbar Castle, Baryulgil. This very successful event presented displays by over 30 artists, a live music program, a High Tea, Holiday Coast Meats, Peterson's Wines, Coopers Beers, homemade lemonade and fresh espresso coffee to over 400 guests.

 

  • 2017 ART IN THE PADDOCK was hosted by John and Brenda Sullivan at historic Gordon Brook Station, Upper Copmanhurst, on the Clarence River.

GATE TO PLATE

 

The Gallery Foundation hosts this bi-annual event that celebrates and supports Clarence Valley producers. Each Gate to Plate presents a varying array of farmers markets, food and wine tastings, masterclasses, degustation lunches, evening banquets, food trails, art exhibitions, demonstrations and performances all showcasing the best of Clarence Valley produce.

  • 2019 BENDIGO BANK GATE TO PLATE - Enjoy a Fresh Food Farmers and Growers Market and the famous Long Lunch, both on Sunday 29 September at the Grafton Showgrounds. Book now for the Long Lunch designed and prepared by two of the most inspiring chefs in the Clarence Valley, Zac Roberts and Charly Prétet. Tickets are limited to 200 and sell out fast. The Long Lunch is preceded by a very festive family friendly market with freshly cooked breakfast and brunch, produce stalls with tasting samples, live music and children's activities.   • 2019 GATE TO PLATE: REGIONAL MASTERS FOOD EXPO Saturday 30 March 2019 at the Treelands Drive Community Centre - a trade show and social gathering showcased regional produce and presented masterclasses by leading regional producers throughout the day followed by a ticketed Roman Banquet of fine regional cuisine.

ANNUAL DINNER & ART AUCTION

 

These sparkling events raise funds and celebrates the achievements of the Foundation. They are very sociable evenings with guest speakers and fine food and beverages from our regions.

 

  • 2018 LOOKING BACK: LOOKING FORWARD – Dinner with Susi Muddiman AO. 5.30pm Saturday 1 December at the Grafton Regional Gallery. Everyone is invited – book through Eventbrite or at the gallery. Chef for the evening is Mark Hackett. Come and enjoy the start of the festive season!

 

  • 2017 DINNER WITH MAGGIE BEER at the Grafton Regional Gallery.  Invitations were sent exclusively to the business proprietors who support the Foundation’s events.

 

DOUBLE GALLERY BUS TRIP | CANCELLED

 

The Gallery Foundation have organised a coach trip to visit two of our fabulous regional galleries on the North Coast at Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. All members of the public are welcome to come along for a very interesting day on Saturday 2 March.

 

The coach departs from the Grafton Regional Gallery at 7.45am to travel to the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery for morning tea, which is included in the ticket price of $90. 

 

Our next stop is lunch in Port Macquarie then on to enjoy a special guided tour at the Glasshouse of the 2018 National Photographic Portrait Prize. 

 

The coach will return to the Grafton Regional Gallery by 7pm. You can purchase your tickets on Eventbrite at Grafton to Port Macquarie Glasshouse Gallery – Return Coach Trip.

This event is a fundraiser presented by The Gallery Foundation.

Periodically there are special events such as the installation of two sculptures commissioned by the Foundation in 2010 and 2012, wine tastings and art auctions.
